Urban Impact Foundation (UIF) is a faith based, non-profit corporation chartered in 1995. Urban Impact was created to foster Christian community development on Pittsburgh's North Side by bringing help, hope and healing to the community one person, one family, one block at a time.

Our focus is on helping at-risk children, youth and their families academically, spiritually, physically and socially. Our financial support comes from foundations, churches, corporations and individuals. Our athletic programs and events serve as outreaches to open the doors to the community. It is during these programs and events that many children, youth and parents hear the Good News of the Gospel for the first time, and are introduced to our academic, mentoring, tutoring, performing arts, summer day camp, overnight camp and other social and family events.
Dr. Rev. Ed Glover, Founding President of Urban Impact Foundation, along with his wife Tammy, have been involved in urban ministry on Pittsburgh's North Side since 1986. A sought-after speaker, Pastor Ed, Tammy and their four children reside on the North Side.
